My 2024 in Rewind (Spotify Wrapped)

2024 is almost over, and it’s time to reflect, vibe, and set the tone for the new year. In this episode, I’m looking back on.

As the year comes to a close, many people reflect on the changes they’ve experienced, the growth they’ve achieved, and the challenges they’ve faced. For one individual, 2024 has been a year of profound transformation, both personally and professionally.

2024 Reflections

1) The feeling of disconnected

For instance, after giving birth and adapting to the demands of raising children, a person might find themselves disconnected from their body, unsure of its new rhythms and capabilities. This physical disconnection can echo through other areas—daily habits feel harder to manage, leading to a loss of control over time and energy.

2) Reconnecting and rediscovering again

This disconnection is often accompanied by a deep yearning—to reconnect with the disciplined self, to restore a sense of control, and to rekindle the faith that once felt so integral. The journey back is rarely linear but begins with small steps: rediscovering a routine, finding a new form of self-care, or simply recognizing the need for grace in a period of adjustment.

2024 Highlights

1) Building our dream home

Starting the process of constructing the dream home, a blessing attributed to God’s grace.

2) Work-life balance

Finding that transition from live events to work that allows us to be home with our family and at least sustain the life we’re all living.

3) Peace in motherhood

Embracing the new season or role as a wife and mother is also a primary calling to women.

4) Renewed spiritual connection

Realizing that our true identity lies in Christ, not in our career or any possessions here on earth. Strengthening our faith and trusting God’s plan, leading to greater peace and contentment which connects to the first 2024 Reflections.

Letting go of old priorities and submitting to God’s plan brought a deep sense of peace.

Ending the year with encouragement:

  • Acknowledges that life has its ups and downs, and everyone goes through different seasons. Reflecting on the difficult season we had last year, feeling lost, unworthy, and questioning our life is also part of God’s molding our character inside and developing new things,

  • Don’t compare one’s journey to others and reminds everyone that God has a unique plan for each person.

  • Trust in God’s good character, knowing He is loving, merciful, and knows what’s best.

  • Life is filled with both beautiful and difficult moments, but the key to navigating them is knowing who God is and trusting in His sovereignty.

  • Let us continue to rest in the truth that God is in control and has a purpose for our lives.

  • Holding on to God’s truth and surrounding oneself with people who care

The journey had been challenging, but it had also been transformative—a testament to the beauty of trust, discipline, and grace.

Life’s seasons are part of God’s greater plan, even if it’s different from personal expectations.
