One of the funnest and funniest episodes to date, where Aaron and Joyce talk about the mass hysteria surrounding the Coronavirus, why Tiktok is such a divisive app and movies that you should definitely watch!

On Coronavirus

○ The virus is a fear monger. We can’t live in fear forever. We should focus on how we can make things better for us and for the people around us rather than spreading news that will worsen it. Proper information dissemination and filtering out fake news is the solution to this.

○ The panic just brings out the worst: apathy, greediness and complete disregard of human beings. The “I don’t care about you as long as I survive” type of mentality has been dominant instead of being united. When we panic, people tend to have decisions that are too individualistic and selfish. There is a fine line between panicking and being cautious. We need to be cautious during this time because panicking won’t do us good.

○ Take precautionary actions such as reading news from trusted sources, preparing and storing supplies for the next weeks, and making sure that you always practice good hygiene.

On Tiktok

The Y Generation thinks that Tiktok isn’t for them because many teens have been doing it and maybe it’s not for their age anymore. Also, they aren’t comfortable to see themselves dance or sing unlike others who use the app. Tiktok might still be on its early stages. It can be a breakthrough app in the future because they captured the right audience.
